Do I need a referral?

No you do not need a referral to see a physiotherapist at Brisbane Physio Specialists.

What should I wear?

Please wear comfortable clothing that allows us to examine the problem area.

What is your payment policy?

Payment is required in full at the time of consultation. We accept EFTPOS, cash and Visa/Mastercard.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours notice for the cancellation or changing of appointments. This gives us an opportunity to fill the appointment with those on the waiting list. We reserve the right to charge for missed appointments.

Can I claim under my private health insurance or Medicare?

Private health insurance policies with extras (or ancillary) cover will provide a rebate for physiotherapy. In this case, Brisbane Physio Specialists can process your claim “on the spot” using our HICAPS facility.

We accept referrals covered by Medicare’s Chronic Disease GP Management Plan (formerly Enhanced Primary Care Program or EPC).  Please note we are not a bulk billing practice. Payment in full is required on the day of treatment, and receipts issued will need to be lodged with Medicare, Workcover or your insurance company to claim entitlements or the gap amount.

Do you accept Workcover or MAIC referrals?

Yes we accept these referrals, but please note we require payment of the full consultation fee at the time of your appointment. We provide receipts so that you can claim back from the appropriate agency, but please be sure you have the correct acceptance of claim and the relevant medical referrals.

Where can I park?

Brisbane Physio Specialists is located at Shop 2, 77 Kedron Brook Road, Wilston.

There is free street parking in Kedron Brook Road ( 1 and 2 hour ) and plenty of parking in the side streets.
